This is a crepe de chine silk jacket cut from a handmade pattern. The front panels were hand painted with Jacquard red label dyes using the Sistek method and then steamed. The sleeves and back were dyed by immersion using ProChem Procion MX dyes using vinegar as the fixative then applying heat. Created January, 2014
